Summer is here, and many of our families are making plans for vacations, visits, and weekend trips.  Here are some practical suggestions to help you get more out of your summer.

  1. Make certain you have a right relationship with Jesus.  In addition to studying road maps and tourism brochures, make certain you study the Bible—the roadmap to life that encourages fellowship with Jesus and learning about God’s will for your life.

  2. Spend time in worship and Sunday School attendance during the summer, even while on vacation.  You need this spiritual refreshment during the summer, whether you are at home or away.

  3. Boost your church by praying for it while you are away.

  4. Make sure that each activity you participate in will bring honor and glory to the Lord.
